 Axe-throwing daughter, Goldi, races to resurrect her murdered family when she discovers an alternate world filled with undead, witches, and a strange but helpful new companion, Rip. 

"The script contains elements of gothic whimsy reminiscent of films like BEETLEJUICE. The plot delivers by creating intrigue and exploring a magical realm fearlessly and vividly. The images of the three witches are original and bring in a lot of interesting mythological elements.  The ending manages to twist the entire story on its head. The final "key" to surviving the realm is completely unexpected and satisfying. Additionally, it leaves open interesting franchise potential due to the inconclusive nature of the closing."

"The script is presenting an intriguing mixture of various fantasy tales and ideas. Goldi is a fun character with heart that the reader wants to root for and it's completely believable that she loves and wants to save her sister and father. The tone is light and adventurous, akin to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and makes for a fun read. Also, the story moves quickly to setup the world and start the main conflict in a way that really opens up the script for the fun it deserves."
