THE SWEDISH SAINT is a fantasy action drama that follows Halen and his family as they struggle to survive in a post-pandemic dystopian Stockholm. Their only hope is when a mysterious woman - believed to be Saint Lucia - appears on their small Swedish farm. She ignites them on a quest to stop the dark uprising of the wild animals who, under the leadership of a terrifying witch, have united to reclaim the earth from what remains of the human race. This is a story centered on family, hope, and humanity coming together in their darkest hour.

"The writer's personality and approach to the script's material has a comical yet honest approach to science along with plausible science fiction in a similar vein to successful projects such as Z Nation, The Walking Dead, and 28 Days Later. But, the writer also adds a unique twist to the project with the story of Saint Lucia, a Christian martyr who died during the Diocletianic Persecution. The characters are also believable and sympathetic. THE SWEDISH SAINT is a Tale of Two Lucy's - one of LIGHT and one of DARKNESS. Based loosely on the Scandinavian Folklore of Saint Lucia (the Patroness Saint of the BLIND) who fed the Christians in the Catacombs in times of Famine. And her evil counterpart, the witch Lussi, who was believed to steal children unprepared for Yule during Winter Solstice with her army called the Lussiferda.
